LinksPulse — Support

Where and when to play golf in Central Florida, and why.

Email us: TPGLLC.Support@gmail.com
We read every message. Please tell us which course and which day you were looking at, and include a screenshot if you can.

Found something wrong?

Corrections are the most useful thing you can send. Green fees, cart and walking rules, hours and who may play change often, and a golfer who was just there knows before we do. If a course's details, photo or location are wrong, tell us what you saw and we will fix it in the next version.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does LinksPulse book tee times?

No. LinksPulse recommends where and when to play. The booking link on each course opens that course's own booking page, and your booking is with them. We cannot see open tee times, change a booking or issue a refund.

Why isn't a course I know listed?

LinksPulse covers a curated set of Central Florida courses, and we add a course only once we can describe it accurately. Email us the name and we will look at it.

Why is a course under "Not ranked for this plan"?

Something about your plan rules it out on that day: for example, it is closed, or we have not been able to confirm its location. The line under its name says which. Tap it to see the course anyway.

Why are some courses hidden?

A few courses are open only to guests of a particular resort. If you are not staying there, you cannot book them, so they are left out of your results. Choose where you are staying in your plan and they will appear. They are always on the Courses tab and the map.

What does "Too close to call" mean?

On what we can see, the top courses are as good as each other. What would really separate them is open tee times and today's green fee, and we usually cannot see either. Rather than pretend one wins, we say so: book whichever has a tee time that suits you.

Why does something say "not measured" or "unknown"?

Because we do not know it. When a forecast cannot be fetched or a fact about a course has not been confirmed, LinksPulse says so instead of guessing, and it does not count what it does not know for or against a course.

How is the drive time worked out?

From TomTom's traffic data. For today with no tee time set, it is traffic right now. For a tee time, or another day, it is the usual traffic for leaving an hour before your tee time (7 AM if you have not picked one), labeled "usual traffic" because nobody can see a future accident. If drive times cannot load, the App says so and shows straight-line miles instead, labeled "straight line".

Does LinksPulse need my location?

No. You can choose a starting area or type a place instead. If you do use your location, it is read once, only while the App is open, rounded to about 100 meters and sent to our routing service to work out drive times, with nothing that identifies you. See our Privacy Policy.

Is the weather a lightning warning?

No. The weather in LinksPulse is a forecast to help you choose a day and time. It is not a safety service. On the course, follow the course's lightning warning and staff, and if you hear thunder, stop play and get to shelter.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the App. LinksPulse has no accounts and sends nothing about you to us, so everything it keeps is on your phone and goes with it.

What is LinksPulse Pro?

A one-time $6.99 purchase (price may vary by country) that lets you plan any of the next seven days instead of just today and tomorrow. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Every course, the reasons behind every ranking and all weather alerts stay free.

I bought Pro. How do I get it back on a new phone?

Open You › See what's in Pro and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. There is no LinksPulse account to sign in to.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Where do the photos come from?

Course photos are used under Creative Commons licenses; aerial images are public-domain U.S. Government surveys and may be a few years old. A course without a verified photo of that course shows an illustration instead, never a picture of somewhere else. Every image is credited in the App under You › Photo credits & data sources.
